A cozy two bedroom home that sleeps four comfortably, both bedrooms have Queen beds. It has one bathroom with tub and shower, living room, dining room, and full kitchen. Relax on the front porch or BBQ in the back yard. Just an easy walk to the Wimberley town square and Blanco River access for swimming.
Also additional lodging, for the same group, can be found just behind the house in the Bunk House. Sleeps two adults and two children comfortably. This is great for a larger group over flow. $80 for two and $25 for each additional up to four, per night.
This is a historical home built in 1920 by John & Lillie Dobie. The one and a quarter acre property was once part of a 133 acre farm owned by Pleasant & Fannie Wimberley in 1892. The house still contains all the original doors, windows, floors, and bead board walls and ceilings. The old garage once housed Lillie Dobie's model T Ford. The original windmill in the back yard was once used to supply water for the home. A rock wall fence in the front, with original gate still stands beneath the shade of a huge oak tree.
