Hill Country Accommodations - Pet Friendly Properties

Abundance - Located on sparkling Cypress Creek and steps from the historic Wimberley Square, Abundance Retreat features 2 guest houses — Sundance Lodge and Moondance Cabin — and an unforgettable setting for a romantic getaway, family reunion, "Big Chill" weekend or corporate meeting. Both offer a wireless internet connection, cable TV, DVD/CD players and local phone service. Sorry, no children under 18 permitted. Dogs who are house broken, friendly and non-destructive are welcome at both Sundance and Moondance. A single faux wicker kennel that is perfect for 2 small dogs or 1 medium size dog is provided. All size dogs or allowed. Please do not leave your pet unattended unless it is crated. A non-refundable $50 deposit is required per dog.

Artisans Inn B & B - A delicious full gourmet breakfast will be served to you in your room. Relax and enjoy the great view over looking the Blanco River Valley. There is a King bed with a twin rollaway available. The large shower area is handicap accessible. There is a nice sitting area on the porch or inside. The kitchenette has a small refrigerator and a microwave, and coffee pot. There is a TV, DVD player and cable. There is a smoking area available outside. Small travel friendly pets are welcome. Weekend rates are $155/night for 2 plus $25/additional guest.

Broad Creek Ranch -This 50 acre ranch is located just 2 1/2 miles from the Wimberley Square. Each house has private acreage around it with large pecan and oak trees, and horses.

The Cottage - This two bedroom, one bath home has a full kitchen with large area for seating and a fireplace in the living room. There is a TV and DVD player. The patio doors open to a large backyard with huge oak trees. There are benches to sit and enjoy the view on the front porch. At night walk up to the fire pit and on to the pool and cabana on the lit stone walk. The pool is 5 ft. deep and has a hot tub. The cabana area has a kitchen with a full size refrigerator, microwave, tables, chairs and a BBQ pit. Pecan and oaks shade the area. Play volleyball then cool off with a dip in the pool. Children and pets welcome, no smoking. ....$225/night for 4 plus $25 per additional person. Oct.1st rate until March 1st is $195 per night. Maximum 5 persons. Pets are $10 per night.

Cedar Creek Lodge - This newly built lodge is wonderful with the cedar and rock work reflecting the Hill Country. Enjoy the open airiness of the windows, views, and catwalks to get you up high around the main room. There are three bedrooms, one king, one queen and one twin with one full bath. In the summer step out the side door of the bathroom and there is another shower just off the creek and under the trees. For those cold winter days and nights the floor has radiant heat, and the main room has a large open fireplace that burns wood or propane. The large dining table seats 8. The fully stocked kitchen even has a commercial gas range and a side window to let you have an outdoors bar and seating area. What a wonderful place to have a wedding. Cabana on the Creek - A world away to Texas Style charm where there is peace and quiet and a creek running by. Escape with your friends and family. The cottage can sleep 6, 2 double beds, 2 twin beds and 1 bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped. It has a wood burning fireplace to enjoy on those cool evenings, and a shower out back for those who like to bath with nature! Relax on the large deck, sit in the rockers and view the wildlife, listen to the creek, take a long walk. $150/night for 2 plus $15/additional guest. Small to medium dogs are welcome and must be on a lease when outside.

Country Cottage #3 - Cabin overlooking the creek with a screened porch, 1 bedroom with queen sized bed, 1 1/2 bath, queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It has full kitchen, wood burning fireplace ( bring your own wood). CD, TV, VCR, non smoking, no pets. $125/night for 2 plus $15/additional guest. Very small dogs and cats are welcome, $10 per night.

Creek House - Located on a beautiful part of Cypress Creek just minutes from the center of Wimberley, yet private. This two level, three bedroom, three bath home is a quiet getaway. The master bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom has a queen, and the open loft bedroom has two twins and two trundle beds. There are TV's in all bedrooms as well as the living room. Cable TV provided as well as computer access DSL. The back deck is furnished for you to just sit and relax and watch the creek and the falls as well as a multitude of wildlife. In bad weather enjoy the screened porch. It has a full kitchen and dining area that join the living room with a bar area. The are two grills, one is gas and one is charcoal (bring your own charcoal).

Gentle Breezes - So Called because of the wonderful breeze that flows across the wide porch, gracing the front of the guest cottage, one bedroom, full kitchen, large Jacuzzi tub for 2 and a shower . This working goat ranch has a fenced porch and yard for your small dog. There is hiking on the 150 acres with walking areas and benches to rest and enjoy nature and a campfire ring. Look for the flying cactus in the two ravines, enjoy the water falls and rocks. ...

Hill Country Hideout - Located just minutes from Wimberley this hideout is in the woods with a true hill country feeling. The two story home was built by a set designer and has many nooks and crannies to explore. Sit on the wrap around screened-in porch, out on the deck, relax in the hot tub, hike on the 5 acres, or maybe a quick walk to the river. Bring your pet, the property is entirely fenced and has a large dog run. This secluded home has three bedrooms and two baths. The master bedroom is upstairs and has a Queen bed in the bedroom with a separate sitting/TV area and a separate reading nook. The private bath has a Jacuzzi tub. Downstairs the second bedroom has a country garden theme with a Queen bed, and shares a bathroom with the third bedroom that has twin beds. Enjoy the two large living areas. The full kitchen has a bar area to sit at as well as a dining area which are set in an open floor plan with the den. Check out the floors in the kitchen, they are scavenged from a bordello.

The game room is separate from the house with the fire pit just outside. Play a game of pool, foosball, or grill supper, and watch the stars. The yard is shaded with large trees. There is satellite TV, and a DVD/VCR .

Kelly's Country Cottages - These cottages are located just five miles North of Wimberley. Ten cottages are available, with occupancy of up to 8 persons per cabin. All have full kitchens, TV, cable, DVD's, CD, stereo's, and WiFi., and local phone service. Porch's to sit and relax as well as BBQ pits and picnic tables. Petting zoo, fossils, and lots of hiking. Great for couples, families or large groups. Medium to small pets welcome, deposit required and the rate is $10 per night. $150/per night for 2 adults (2 children age 11 and under are included) then $15 for each additional guest.

Special: Sunday at 6 PM through Friday at 10 AM - 5 nights $500 for 2 guests plus taxes.

Cabin 11 - Windhaven - Handicapped equipped with ramp. 2 bedrooms with 1 double, and 1 queen, in the loft there are 2 twins, a loveseat and a chair.

Leahy's Creekside Cottages, Arbor Dawn, Cabin A - Located just North of Wimberley on Cypress Creek this cabin is great for relaxing and just sitting by the creek. This is a great part of the creek for swimming. There are 2 bedrooms with 1 king bed and 1 queen bed and 1 bath room with a tub/shower. The living room has a fireplace with 1 queen futon and 2 chairs that fold out into twin beds. TV, DVD and cable. The full kitchen has seating for 6. The deck out back is a nice place to grill your supper and watch the stars. New central air and heat have been installed. Small pets are welcome for a $10 per night charge and must be on a leash when outside. Med. dogs $15 per night. Sleeps 8 $130/per night for 2 and $20 per additional guests.

Leahy's Creekside Cottages, Arbor Dusk, Cabin B - Located just North of Wimberley on Cypress Creek this cabin is just next door to Cabin A and is great for relaxing and just sitting by the creek. There is a handicap ramp in the front. This is a great part of the creek for swimming. There is a bedroom with 1 King bed, and also a 1double bed in the loft. 1 bath room with a tub/shower . The living room has Queen sleeper sofa , fireplace and TV, DVD and cable. The full kitchen has seating for 4. There is a trundle bed that opens to a King located at the end of the kitchen in the sun room area. The deck out back is a nice place to sit and watch the world go by at a slow pace. Small pets are welcome for a $10 per night , medium size dogs are $15 per night and must be on a leash when outside. Sleeps 8 $130/per night for 2 and $20 per additional guests.

Love's Nest - Enjoy this property from the front porch or from the Blanco River. This 3 bedroom 2 bath home is only 5 years old and can sleep up to 8 people. The master bedroom has a king bed and a private bathroom with a garden tub with a separate dressing area. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and the third bedroom has a double futon. There are lots of window to enjoy the landscaped yard and flowers. It has a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, BBQ area just off the small back deck, and a carport to park under. The Blanco River park is just across the street with deep and shallow water for your enjoyment. Hot tub coming soon. Very small travel friendly dogs allowed with permission.

Pecan Star Cottage - Enjoy the Blanco River from this newly refurbished 1200 square foot cottage. It has one bedroom with a Queen bed and a King trundle bed on the sun porch. It has a full kitchen living room combination with a fireplace, TV, DVD, cable. The single bathroom has a shower. There is a small back porch just right to sit and watch the river as you BBQ you dinner. No children under the age of 10. Wireless Internet.

Pet friendly, small dogs $10 per night. $165/night for 2 plus $15 for each additional guest.

Piedra Bonita - Located just South of Wimberley this three bedroom log home has a distinct Hill Country flavor. Sit and relax in the rockers on the long front porch as the wildlife moves through the area, or enjoy the covered deck area just off the kitchen. There is one bedroom downstairs with a queen bed and full bath with a tub and shower. A second bedroom is upstairs with a king bed and sitting area, enjoy the view from the windows. The open loft area is furnished with a queen bed and shares the bathroom which has a shower . The full kitchen has seating for four with more seating at the kitchen counter. Satellite TV, DVD, and sound system working wood burning stove. Hot tub in gazebo area, very small pets $10 per night with owners approval. Sleeps 6 Also a great area for a small wedding or family get together.

Rancho El Valle Chiquito - On this wooded 55 acres, you will be surrounded by a barnyard full of unique animals from peacocks to fainting goats. Drive golf balls, fish in the pond (catch and release) or enjoy the large hot tub. Horseback riding is available for children 8 and under. Visit the Cowboy campfire (unless there is a burn ban) roast wieners and marshmallows, sit under the stars and tell campfire stories. This is a great location for children, lots of room for family reunions and groups. Enjoy the driving range and putting green. Play volleyball, tetherball, hunt for fossils and arrow heads in the dry creek bed. There is plenty of room for hiking in the woods. The Barn, Longhorn and Stable can all be rented and used by a large group and have access through connecting doors.

A Cowboy Breakfast is now available for $7.50 each, two person minimum. Please set this up at time of booking.

Small pets are welcome with prior approval. There is a $10 per night charge per pet.

Rio Casita - This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home on the Blanco River has a fabulous water front view and a large fenced back yard that goes down to the river. The master bath has an oversized tub and shower made for two. The long covered back porch is great for cooking out, there is a full kitchen, with all the extras, including a wood burning stove. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and the third bedroom has a set of twins. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Satellite TV , pet friendly, $20 per night per pet. There is a non-refundable $50 cleaning deposit per pet required.

Stone Canyon - You have to see this great house on the Blanco River. Steps down to the water, enjoy the 200 Sq. foot outdoor fire pit, Disc-golf area, horseshoe pit, and lots of room for a game of volleyball. Relax in the hammock and the river side swing and chairs, or wade in the river. Rock stairs lead down to the water. There are 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom is upstairs with views of the river and canyon, with a king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a view of the river. The third bedroom has three twin beds and a view of the canyon. There are two bathrooms. The full kitchen has an island with barstools. The living room has a full size sleeper sofa, a fold-out futon mattress, vaulted ceilings, a fireplace and large picture windows. There is a 750 square foot deck with a 5 person hot tub, and both propane and charcoal grills. This property is pet friendly with a 500 square foot fenced dog run underneath the deck. It has a huge yard shaded with pecan trees and a 100 feet of river frontage with Bald Cypress trees. There is a 32" TV with DirecTV, DVD player, and high speed satellite internet.

$250/night for 2 guests plus $25 per additional persons. Pets are $10 per night, very dog friendly. There is a three night minimum Memorial Day through Labor Day. There is a cleaning fee of $50. If you have pets there is an additional $25 cleaning fee.

Stony Oaks on the Blanco - Enjoy both the shallow and deep waters of the beautiful Blanco River. Feed the grey foxes on the patio and watch the many birds. Relax in the shade on the bluff overlooking the river. Stony Oaks is located just 1 1/2 miles from the village square. Very small travel friendly dogs are welcome, $10 per night limit one dog.

Vista Verde - High up in the hills with an open view of the skies you will want to stay forever. The large home sleeps up to 10. The open floor plan has a gourmet kitchen with a Thermador cook top. The living room has a fireplace and an open wall of windows to enjoy the view, There is a large HDTV with DVR/DVD for your use. The master bedroom is downstairs with a king bed, private bath and access to the deck and hot tub. The second bedroom on the first floor has a Queen bed. Upstairs there is a private bedroom with a Queen bed and an open loft with four twin beds. Wireless Internet and handicap wheelchair accessible. Children welcome, and pet friendly with a $50 non-refundable charge per pet. There is a 30 cancellation notice required.
